Description

Meet your guide in Zurich or get picked up from your hotel and head to Lenzerheide in a private van. On arrival, your guide will handle everything: your Light Ride access, the Rothorn 1 gondola to the start, sleds and helmets, and the quick registration for your personal transponder so your runs are timed and scored. Then it’s go-time: follow the illuminated course on the lower section of the Scharmoin–Canols sledge run, weave through tunnels and light gates, and try to top the leaderboard. Think “Alpine arcade meets night sledding” — it’s unique, social, and seriously addictive. The full Scharmoin–Canols run drops about 410 m over roughly 3.8 km; Light Ride lights up the lower stretch with multi-sensory installations and playful challenges. You’ll usually ride on select evenings during the winter season; timings are arranged in advance so you get the best flow for 2–3 exhilarating descents, depending on conditions and queues.

Important Information

• Light Ride runs only on selected evenings in season, from December to March (Wednesdays & Saturdays). Wear warm winter clothing, waterproof gloves, and sturdy boots. Suitable for most guests with a basic level of mobility and a taste for winter fun. This activity requires advance booking as Light Ride tickets in Lenzerheide are very limited and highly popular. Early reservations are the only way to secure your spot.
