KEEN Wellbeing
Zurich
At a glance
KEEN Wellbeing is an active recovery venue at Viaduktstrasse 25 in Zurich, centred on heat, cold and mindful breathing rather than conventional gym training or spa treatments. The setting is designed for physical, emotional and mental wellbeing, with a calm but communal character that gives recovery a social dimension.
Sessions follow two formats. Guided classes last 60 minutes and are led by experienced coaches who take participants through a sequence of sauna time, ice baths and breathwork. Different sessions are shaped around purposes such as supporting energy, performance or sleep quality. The coached format provides structure, professional guidance and a shared experience for people who prefer a facilitated approach.
Solo journeys also run for 60 minutes, allowing individual use of the sauna, cold plunges and recovery zone. The recovery area includes massage guns, compression boots and other tools intended to support physical recovery. This format suits a slower, self-directed visit, with time to move between heat, cold and rest at an individual pace.
The sauna experience ranges from lower-temperature infrared and steam settings at around 50°C to a Finnish sauna reaching 90°C. Sauna sessions are paired with cold-water plunges and breathwork, creating a cycle of warming, cooling and controlled breathing. KEEN also presents breathwork as part of the communal sauna experience, rather than separating it from the heat therapy.
On weekends, the sauna becomes a setting for social events with DJs, creative brands and local communities. These gatherings bring a nightlife-inspired energy into a wellness environment while retaining the focus on recovery and connection. The overall atmosphere is immersive, using sound, light and scent alongside the core practices.
KEEN suits people looking for a guided reset, a self-led recovery session or a more communal wellness outing. It can appeal to those managing everyday stress, building a regular recovery ritual or exploring sauna, cold exposure and breathwork in a structured environment. Professional coaching and an emphasis on safe, carefully curated experiences make the venue suitable for newcomers as well as people already familiar with active recovery.
