Description
Begin your journey in St. Gallen with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Stiftsbezirk and its renowned Abbey Library, rich in history and culture. From there, take a funicular up the hillside before boarding a train through Appenzell’s rolling green hills.
Stop at a traditional cheese factory to observe the cheese-making process and enjoy a tasting. In the afternoon, walk through Appenzell’s old town, noted for its colorful painted houses.
