Description
Your private driver will pick you up from Zurich or nearby areas. After approximately 35 minutes, you reach the northern side of the Rhine Falls, where you can take a boat ride to experience the falls up close. The recommended yellow boat allows a stop on the rock in the middle of the falls during a 30-minute ride.
Next, visit the Rhine Falls from the opposite side at Schloss Laufen. Here you can use an elevator to get near the falls and explore Laufen Castle.
Following a 25-minute drive through countryside with vineyards, arrive in Stein am Rhein, a medieval town known for well-preserved painted facades and half-timbered houses. Key attractions include the Monastery of St. Georgen, the Lindwurm Museum showcasing 19th-century life, the nearby Werd island group, and the historic Hohenklingen Castle dating back to 1225.
