From the station, a 15–20 minute walk along an alpine trail through limestone cliffs and a small cave chapel leads to the Aescher Guesthouse, built into the mountain face.
The Aescher Guesthouse, over 170 years old, features a wooden terrace overlooking the Seealpsee valley below. Here you can relax, enjoy lunch, or take in the alpine atmosphere with distant cowbells and wind sounds.
