Description
Visit the Kunsthaus Zürich to explore diverse artworks from the Middle Ages to the present. Your ticket grants access to all collections within the Kunsthaus buildings, from the historic Moser building to the modern Chipperfield extension, including temporary small exhibitions.
As Switzerland’s largest art museum, it features paintings, sculptures, installations, works on paper, photographs, videos, and digital works. Highlights include the world’s most important collection of Alberto Giacometti’s works and the largest Edvard Munch collection outside Norway.
Admire Impressionist and classical modernist pieces by Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Pierre Bonnard, Oskar Kokoschka, and Marc Chagall. The collection also includes Pop Art from Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, plus works by Cy Twombly, Joseph Beuys, and Georg Baselitz. Contemporary art is showcased through video installations and photography by Fischli/Weiss and Pipilotti Rist.
Notable immersive installations include Refik Anadol’s AI-generated 'Glacier Dreams' and Pipilotti Rist’s 'Pixelwald Turicum,' combining light, color, and sound for a unique sensory experience.
The museum houses the world’s largest Dada collection with works by Hans Arp, Hannah Höch, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, and Man Ray. Exhibitions rotate every three months to keep the experience fresh.
Series such as 'ReCollect!' invite contemporary artists to interact with the collection. Since 2021, the David Chipperfield extension has expanded space for contemporary art and significant private loans.
Special exhibitions are not included in this ticket. After visiting, the museum’s central location encourages further exploration of Zurich.
