Description

Depart from Zurich and travel to Lucerne, passing the Albis Pass and Lake of the Four Cantons. Stop briefly in Lucerne to photograph the city and hear about its key sights: the Chapel Bridge, Town Hall, Jesuit Church, and Culture and Congress Centre. You will then have free time to stroll Lucerne’s Old Town before continuing to Engelberg.

From Engelberg’s valley station, take a series of cable cars to Mount Titlis at 3,000 meters elevation. Experience the revolving Rotair cable car providing panoramic views of glacier crevasses and ice formations. Enjoy alpine dining or relaxation on the sun terrace at the summit.

Visit the Glacier Cave and walk across the Cliff Walk suspension bridge. Ride the Ice Flyer chairlift near the glacier’s crevasses and try snow tubing at the Glacier Park, available even during summer months. Return by cable car and drive back to Zurich.
