Visit the charming old town of Lucerne on this day-long excursion. Enjoy a scenic drive along the picturesque shores of Lake Lucerne, also known as the Lake of the Four Cantons, as you make your way to this historic and charming destination. During a short orientation drive, your guide will take you past the main attractions, including the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and the Cultural and Convention Center. After this, you will have 6 hours to yourself, in order to explore this town, its culture, and traditions, on your own. Visit the Verkehrshaus, the museum of transport and communication, or the Rosengart Museum, housing works by Picasso and Paul Klee or download the 'Best of Lucerne' audioguide on your device to discover the city’s main attractions and rich history. Optional: Take a scenic boat trip on beautiful Lake Lucerne (April to October). Sit back, relax, and enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
