Travel from Zurich to Lucerne with a scenic drive along the shores of Lake Lucerne, also called the Lake of the Four Cantons. A multilingual guide provides an orientation drive past Lucerne’s main sights, including the Chapel Bridge, Town Hall, Jesuit Church, and the Cultural and Convention Center.

After the orientation, you will have approximately six hours of free time to explore Lucerne independently. Options include visiting the Verkehrshaus (Museum of Transport and Communication) or the Rosengart Museum, which houses works by Picasso and Paul Klee. You may also download the 'Best of Lucerne' audioguide to learn more about the city's main attractions and history.

From April to October, you can upgrade your tour with a scenic one-hour boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. The cruise offers views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Snacks are available on board, and the journey passes charming lakeside towns and natural scenery.
