Description

Spend a full day in the Jungfrau Region on a private trip from Zurich. This is a suggested itinerary with five fixed stops and a set amount of time at each. Your driver picks you up at your hotel or any address in Zurich in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The drive over the Brünig Pass to Lake Brienz takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. Giessbach Falls (30 minutes): walk to the viewpoints where the falls drop in 14 cascades through the forest above Lake Brienz. Iseltwald (45 minutes, 20 minutes' drive): stroll along the turquoise shore of Lake Brienz and out to the famous wooden pier. Interlaken (1 hour 15 minutes, 15 minutes' drive): walk across the Höhematte park and along the Höheweg with views of the Jungfrau, and stop for lunch. Grindelwald (1 hour 15 minutes, 30 minutes' drive): explore the village at the foot of the Eiger, with time for a walk and photos. Lauterbrunnen (45 minutes, 30 minutes' drive): walk to the base of Staubbach Falls, which drops nearly 300 metres from the cliffs of the valley. The drive back to Zurich takes about 2 hours 15 minutes and ends at your hotel or address. The whole trip lasts about 10 hours. All five stops are free to visit. Food, drinks, mountain railways and cable cars are not included. On request, your driver can change the order of the stops, for example because of the weather.
