Description
Join an expert guide for a 2-hour walk through Zurich’s leading contemporary art galleries. Each gallery is chosen for its distinctive program, role in the local art ecosystem, and relevance to current cultural trends. The tour covers a variety of curatorial styles and neighbourhoods, providing a comprehensive view of Zurich’s art scene.
The tour starts early to avoid crowds, beginning with a quiet visit that establishes the tone. You then proceed through a mix of established and emerging galleries, pausing midway at a culturally significant café known for its thoughtful design and clientele. Throughout the tour, the guide provides context beyond what is visible on gallery walls, including collector histories, artist connections, curatorial choices, and exhibition significance within the international art discourse.
The exact route adapts to current exhibitions, seasons, and your interests to ensure high-quality access and perspective at each stop.
Your guide is a contemporary art advisor with over ten years of experience in primary and secondary markets, private collections, and international institutions. Educated at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, she has participated in major global art platforms such as Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Cologne, and directed museum-scale projects.
